Along with showing support for the LBGBTQ community, JetBlue also showed its support and commitment to the victims of the Orlando shooting. Here are just some of the 500 plus crewmembers who took part in this years’ festivities. JetBlue is proud to be a voice in the LGBTQ community. Special thanks to Blandon Belushin Studio for the amazing photos.
Balloons and flags lined the parade route with the statement, “We Stand with Orlando.” At the largest LGBTQ pride celebration in the U.S., we showed our commitment to not just the LGBTQ community but also New York City, where we are the city’s hometown airline. We would like to thank all of our crewmembers who helped make our presence at the march a success! This year’s march was especially moving, with millions of participants and spectators coming together in solidarity for the victims of the Orlando shooting that took place two weeks ago. JetBlue’s participation included our very own airplane float and a partnership with the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus who brought out a surprise guest – Judy Garland’s daughter, singer and actress Lorna Luft!
This past weekend, more than 500 JetBlue crewmembers and friends danced their way down 5th Avenue in the 46 th annual New York City Pride March.
